Coastline Plastics has been in the water storage industry for over 33 years. Coastline Plastics is privately owned and operated by Robert De Rooy. Rob started the business under the name of Coastal Tanks back in 1973, specializing in manufacturing concrete water tanks for farms and large corporations. Some 8 years ago we recognized a trend to domestic rainwater storage for harvesting water that would be otherwise wasted as the government and people recognize the urgent need for more water in this dry country of ours. At first we became an agent for plastic tanks alongside our concrete tank manufacturing. Soon we decided to manufacture the plastic tanks ourselves as the quality of the polyethylene water tanks and the delivery time was very inconsistent. We knew that with our experience in the tank industry we could make and supply a better product than what was available at the time. From these beginnings we have branched out into various other products and have also branched out into vacuum formed plastic products as well. Worm composting bins, road barriers, playground equipment, safety barriers, canoes, boats, dog kennels, pump housings, sumps, chemical storage containers & bins, aquaculture tanks, fish ponds, fish tanks, pools and spas are just some of the other products available for manufacturing. Our manufacturing warehouse is located in the picturesque city of Wollongong, NSW Australia. We are located at 237 Berkeley Road, Unanderra, just down the road from the Nan Tien Buddhist temple towards the eastern side of the Unanderra Train Station. We endeavour to have every rainwater tank size in stock at any one time ensuring quick, reliable delivery of our products. Some tanks are also in stock in a variety of colours.
